Romans 13*12 Breakdown

The verse is a deep one and one that should bring the Christian much joy. Her Paul is saying that the night is almost over and the day is coming. Think of waiting for the sun to rise on Christmas morning. All the excitement that kids feel knowing that the next day is Christmas is the same thing that is happening here in this verse.

As Christians we are not living for this world, we are waiting patiently for the return of Jesus Christ so he can make all things new.
